Angelo Orphanos PT, OMT

Angelo studied Exercise Science in 1995 from Adelphi University and went on to complete his studies, earning his Physical Therapy degree from the University of Hartford in 2000. Desiring to further hone his craft, along with numerous continuing education courses he completed his Residency training with The Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2010 where he further developed his manual technique, clinical reasoning Angelo Orphanos graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in and diagnostic skills. Angelo is a seasoned clinician who with over 20 years of work experience, continues to treat all musculoskeletal, orthopedic and sport injuries and conditions with a specialization in neck, mid and low back pain. His motto is, “Anything done without purpose is purposeless”, and as such strives to create individualized treatment plans with strong emphasis on accurate diagnosis and assessment, advanced manual/hands-on technique, appropriate and evidence-based exercise prescription and specific patient education resulting in maximal patient recovery and satisfaction. Angelo's hobbies include playing guitar and he can often be found at live music venues and concerts from no-names to the big-names, On/Off Broadway shows as well as visiting local art galleries and exhibits.
